“Throughout his career, Eddy Merckx rode mainly with Adidas shoes and Campagnolo toeclip pedals, but being a great entrepreneur he introduced these new style of Clipless pedals in the 90s. These were made in France (Christol) and featured a quite unique slide-in system.”
Although, the Podio pedals didn’t really catch the market, they are most certainly a great piece of Cycling History.
